KOBOT ENGINEERING
Kobot Engineering manufactures precision parts, seamer & filler tooling and purpose-built production machinery, with in-house design, CNC machining and rebuilding under one roof.
Founded in 1991 by Kobus Botha, Kobot Engineering is based in the Paarl Valley, manufacturing precision parts and tooling for the can and canning industry. What began as a specialist parts workshop has grown into a full-service partner: design, CNC machining, seamer and filler refurbishment, purpose-built production machinery and machine rebuilding, all delivered from one site, with in-house inspection on every component.
Our story
CNC turning, milling, surface & cylindrical grinding and gear cutting to drawing, at tolerances down to 0.005mm.
In-house SolidWorks design and SolidCAM programming, from concept sketch to a proven machining process.
Seamer parts and tooling for the canning industry, manufactured to drawing specification.
Purpose-built production machinery designed and manufactured for a range of industries.
Full refurbishment of seamers, fillers and production lines: stripped, rebuilt and upgraded on site.
Every component inspected in-house and delivered with certification.
Every part starts as a worn original, a technical drawing, or both. Kobot machines specialty spares to a minimum tolerance of 0.005mm, the kind of precision a seaming head genuinely needs to run true.
See the capabilityCNC turning and milling, surface and cylindrical grinding, and a dedicated grinding room, all on the same Paarl Valley premises, with in-house inspection on every job.
Every CNC cell, lathe and grinder on the floor runs jobs daily, from one-off spares to full production batches. It's a working machine shop, not a showroom.
